 Medieval Muslim Money

Gene W. Heck

The author discusses the date of the Islamic money explaining its start and the need to mint it. He gave several reasons such as the vastness of the Islamic state, the connection between the Muslims trade with the neighbouring countries, and finding a way to facilitate the dealing among people. The money was minted in the middle ages. It is a symbol for national sovereignty and a reflection of the Muslims reality at the time. The history has never known such an interest in using and activating money among people like that of Muslims.
